Celebrating EA JR/SR High Staff Dedication and Teamwork

During the months of November and December, East Allegheny Junior/Senior High School recognized several staff members for their dedication, teamwork, and positive contributions to the school community. These peer submitted recognitions highlight the many ways staff members support students, colleagues, and district programs each day.

Staff members were acknowledged for their work across a wide range of roles. Ms. Amanda Ansell was recognized for sponsoring the junior high art club and inspiring students as they designed two murals. Mr. Dave Loya was noted for his year round leadership as athletic director, including a successful fall season and ongoing work on the turf and track replacement project. Ms. Tina Nicholls was commended for her efficient work in the office and her positive presence with students and staff.

Several recognitions celebrated teamwork and support. Ms. Kathy Chenot, Mr. Josh Miller, and Ms. Marcie Sippey were appreciated for stepping in to provide extra support the robotics team. Mr. Rick Yeager was recognized for his management of EA Academy IEPs across grades K through 12 and his outstanding support of colleagues.

Staff members were also celebrated for their encouragement and school spirit. Ms. Natalie Peel’s consistently cheerful attitude was noted, while Mr. Dennis Edwards was recognized for his effectiveness in motivating students. Ms. Emily Ross was praised for her enthusiasm as a new faculty member and for volunteering to help coach the Unified Bocce team. Mr. Rob Gutwald was recognized for his behind the scenes work creating signage and apparel for the district, and Ms. Elisa Greb-Link was thanked for mentoring and supporting new colleagues.

Together, these recognitions reflect the commitment and care that define the East Allegheny community.
