Students Lead a Celebration of Black History at East Allegheny

Families and community members are invited to join East Allegheny School District for a special evening celebrating Black History through the talents and voices of our students. This event will showcase how history continues to live and grow through the stories, creativity, and leadership of a new generation.

East Allegheny high school students will honor influential Black figures whose courage, creativity, and leadership have shaped our world and continue to inspire others. Through student led presentations, beautifully displayed artwork, music, and dance, attendees will experience Black History as a living story still being written.

The celebration will take place on February 12, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM in the East Allegheny Junior Senior High School cafeteria.

This event is open to families and community members, with free food and drinks provided. No registration is required.
